This error is sometimes encountered during the Rebuild phase, but only if you are using a virtual drive as your source. The purpose of this thread is to gather data on the problem so, hopefully, we can figure out what the cause is. jdobbs has already looked over his code, and can't find the error there. Hopefully we will be able to find a cause external to the program, or perhaps gather enough data to help jdobbs track it down.
If you encounter this error please post the following:
Error Msg:
RB Version:
OS:
VD Software:
DVD:
Extra info:
For VD Software be sure and include the version number.
For DVD, include the title, region, and if you know there are multiple releases try to specify which one.
Extra info is optional.
DO NOT post that you didn't encounter this error, even if you are using a virtual drive, unless you see a person who DID encounter the error with the same disc. We know it works some/most of the time.
A FIX:
For those looking for a fix, there is an easy one, and you do not even have to start you project over from scratch. Just use DVD Decryptor in FILE MODE (on the menu go to Mode->File, or just hit 'f' on your keyboard) and copy ALL the files you see to a directory on your HD. If you already performed DeCSS when creating your mounted iso, you can also copy the entire VIDEO_TS source to a folder on your HD. Either way, after you have the files on your HD just point DVD-RB to that directory as the source and try to rebuild again.
