Splitting subtitles in .SRT format

Is there a way to split subs in .SRT format after I got the 2 AVI´s from Gordian Knot?

I know this can be done with .SUB files, but .SRTs are much smaller and easier to download.

Any ideas or programs I can use?

Well,You could convert SRT to SUB using SubResync and do it your own way.

SubRip permits you to extract srt files directly from the vobs :)

Can split subtitle (at selected item, at given item, at given time, at given frame, or at the end of video), or in an indefinite number of parts (equal in time, in lines or at the end of multiple videos).
