Repair broken AVI file

I have partially downloaded a movie in HDTV (as i already own this movie on DVD i relly dont feel bad about downloading it). the problem is I only got 80% of the avi file. Is there any way I can fix the avi file so that i can watch it ? its a huge file, around 3,5GB res. 1920x816. I just want to watch the awsome quality.

I can't say I've ever seen this exact spin applied to a *download* request, but all the same, the Announcement (http://forum.doom9.org/announcement.php?s=&forumid=6) at the top of the Newbies homepage still applies.
