Subtitle tracks for bits of foriegn language in mostly English movie

Ok I know this subject has bee written about before because I remember reading something about it. Unfortunatley, old forum submissions seem to be deleted with new submissions coming in so I'm not able to find it.

I just converted the movie "Swimming Pool" into DivX using GKNOT. This movie is mostly in English but is peppered with French speaking scenes. My question is: how do I get the subtitles for those french speaking segments without adding subtitles for the entire, mostly-English speaking rest of the movie. (Also what is this subtitle track called?).

You're talking about "forced" subtitles. In AutoGK the guide describes the checkbox you need to use to extract the forced subtitles only. I don't know how to do it in (non-Auto) Gordian Knot.
