can't get more than 2 passes in cce

i;m trying this new soft and i did set cce to 3 passes.
but when cce is working it does only 2 passes. why is that ?

3 passes in dvd-rb actually mean two cce passes, and a vaf creation pass. Plus, multipass passes don't mean that CCE is restarted.. so you can do 5 passes, and CCE will be started twice, once for the vaf, and once for the other passes( if you set 5 passes in dvd-rb, then the 2nd time cce is started, it'll do 4 passes).

well i knew that.
the fact is that i set it to 4 passes and the first time it does 1 and restart but then only does 2 passes instead of 3.

Remember that any changes you make only apply to the next FULL JOB you do, because the ECL is created in PREPARE. So if you did a PREPARE, then changed number of passes, then did ENCODE -- you would still do the original number of passes (before the change).
