I'm having family over for dinner and a movie but the movie I was planning to show uses the 'f' word about a dozen times.
My guests are bringing their 10 year old son so I figured I would just dub out those words from the sound track.
Is there any shareware out that can do this for me without disrupting the synchronization with the picture?
I already ripped the DVD with DVD Decrypter to an ISO and then used DVD Shrink to break it down.

If you need this only for one viewing, I'd say it's easier to push the Mute button during the questionable conversations. Otherwise, I believe there is no way around it without re-authoring the DVD.
In case you want a quick-and-dirty fix, you can backup the movie only and then demux all video and audio streams. You'd be better off discarding the chapter info as well as subtitles and all but one audio stream, preferably stereo rather than 5.1 for the sake of convenience. Since it's most likely an AC-3 audio, I suggest you convert it to .wav with BeSweet and edit it in any sound editor. You probably have one installed with Windows; I often use Nero WaveEditor that comes with Nero. If you only had 5.1 audio, you'd have had it converted to 6 separate .wav files. Either way, convert it back to AC-3 with BeSweet and author a DVD in IfoEdit using DVD Author function in the menu and adding the original .m2v video and the new audio.
Both BeSweet and IfoEdit are available on the download page of this site.
