I've successfully backed up a movie (just the main movie) with ReJig.
I am new to the software, and this is probably a stupid question, but can you back up the whole movie, with titles and everything, with ReJig?
If not, what is a good transcoding program that can backup an entire DVD movie with menus and extras?

hmmm... sorry i forgot to mention in our previous discussion that rejig is currently only able to process movie only back-ups.
however if you use dvd-rebuilder you can use the rejig transcoding engine to make full backups including fully functioning menus etc. at present dvd-rb does not compress the menus, however support for this is planned in the near future.
the programs i recommended are freeware alternatives, which although still in heavy development, have proved very popular by many forum members. if, however, you have some spare cash, you can also look at the commercial products avaliable - eg clone dvd etc.
if you have even more money, and are willing to learn the complex nature of commercial dvd authoring, you can even take a look at the 'big 3' forum, which is my personal area of expertise.
DoItFast4U, DoCCE4U & ReAuthorist (http://forum.doom9.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=66)
i would however recommend that you take a moment to reflect on your attitude towards freeware/shareware, as you will find that many forum members will not appreciate such statements as:that software sucks ...particularly when the sum total of your issues with this incredible FREE program, that took thousands of hours to develop and test to get to where it is today, is that it did not perform, how you thought it should, on ONE title.
and why is that?
well we never did reach a conclusion did we?
anyway, read, learn, and enjoy your time in the doom9 forum. we are generally a relaxed, helpful, good-natured bunch, but we do ask that you make use of the search button (http://forum.doom9.org/search.php?s=) and be respectful of the forum and the community as a whole.

jel-Well put.
GameGenie-I haven't used the program yet, but DVD-lab can accomplish your stated goal; I've read a lot of positive feedback on it from members whose opinions mean a lot to me. Authoring can be a complex and tedious task for those of us just starting out, this may be a program you want to take a serious look at. Doom9 recently authored and published a guide for us mere mortals to play with.
Doom9's DVD-lab guide (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/dvd-lab.htm).
DVD Shrink does not suck. You and jel worked long and hard on your last request, it's easy to understand how some intense frustration can set in, but I'd strongly suggest you consider editing that comment.
