Hi,
I have been using GK for a long time and would like to thank you len0x for the great app.
I am familiar with GK and have had no problems yet. The question I have is that should I continue using GK or switch to AutoGK.
I always rip subtitles and put them in as VobSub files. I do not mess around much, like editing the .avs files or changing the codec settings much, but I have changed over from DivX Pro to Xvid 1.0 RC4.
The crux of the question is that are there any extra features in AutoGK except automation cos I am happy with manual work in GK like creating DVD2AVI projects and then manually cropping the video and setting the video size, and finally deciding on the audio.

best way to test would be to try autogk yourself and see what you think. its a great program for anyone who just wants to be able to point and click to get a good looking avi.

Thanx fo the reply, but I did try AutoGK once, but I felt restricted, so I encoded with GK. I usually mess around with the resolution, audio file settings, subtitles, and the codec settings which I could not do with AutoGK. What I basically wanted to know is that are there any additional benifits to using AutoGK. Cos I am happy to do a few things manually.

well your already with the best then ;) only advantage on agk is having it all done right, if you know how to do that yourself then you dont need it.
