I ripped a bunch of movies to my hard drive using dvd decrypter awhile ago. I finally got around to start burning them to dvd's but when I go back into dvd decrypter and choose the folder where I ripped the dvd to, nothing shows up in that folder. I can play the movie fine using Powerdvd. So what did I do wrong? I assume I did not make an .ISO file or something. Can I still create this? A sample folder consists of the following files: VIDEO_TS; VIDEO_TS.BUP; VIDEO_TS.IFO; VTS_01_0; VTS_01_0.BUP; VTS_01_0.IFO; VTS_01_1; VTS_01_2; VTS_01_3; VTS_01_4.

That means you ripped them in File mode rather than ISO mode. Although DVD Decrypter can't burn them, most of the DVD burning software can. For example, in Nero open new DVD compilation, drop all these files into VIDEO_TS folder, and burn. Read the guide (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/dvdburn.htm).

Just figured that out, but now I have more problems. I am 0 for 3 with burns right now. Using pioneer 107d, memorex blanks and nero 6.0. It goes through the whole burn process and the says it failed. Looking at the error log I get "Could not perform end of Disc-at-once" message. Looks like it is back to the internet for answers. I had no clue that this would be that hard.

personally i would leave nero out of the equation altogether.

you can do this by using ImgTool Claasic (http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Vobtools/Classic_0.91.2.zip) to create an .iso image from your dvd files. you can then burn this .iso image using DVDDecrypter.
the most recent versions of this program can also automate the burn process for you, making it a one-click solution.

hope that helps

Your suggestions gave me much better results, thanks. I am now having some compatibility problems with my standalones, but at least I accomplished burning the movies. Some initially load but then stop right before the dvd menu appears while others play fine. However, all play fine on my computer. That brings up the question, why does everything play fine on computer DVD players and not expensive standalones?

well first thing i would check is that your standalone player will play DVD+/-R.
head to http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers and run a search on your make and model.

the other issue you may be having is one of cheap media which can adversely affect the playback in some players.
have a read in the DVD burning forum (http://forum.doom9.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=60) which will have a lot more threads regarding media and compatibility and is much more suitable forum for any further questions regarding playback.

good luck

oh and you will generally find that expensive standalone players adhere more rigorously to the DVD standards and will balk at any anomalies, whereas a DVD ROM drive is much more forgiving.
