Is it possible, by any trick or driver, to bypass the use of pixel shaders in games? I want to play the Deus Ex 2 & Splinter Cell 2 demos but I can't 'cause I have a GeForce 2 Ti graphics card with no pixel shader support.

IIRC, I read somewhere that its possible to emulate this...
But then your CPU has to do all this "shader" stuff !!!
Just guessing...
- Game X would need 2GHz + HW pixel shaders to run properly...
- Then it should need 3GHz or more with SW emulated pixel shaders
Btw, you can get a Radeon 9800Pro 256MB for less than 300 € !!!

You can get a card with Pixel / Vertex shaders for 40€ too :p
In order to 'play' these games you'll have to upgrade your GFX card. There are a lots of them - from ultra cheap / slow (the abovementioned 40€ ones...) to ultra expensive / fast for 300+ €.
Just depends on your system / how much you're willing to spend and when you are going to upgrade the rest of your computer (if at all).
