I would like to have a movie only mode, or movie and menu only mode (if possible). Most of the time I dont care for the extras and would rather use the space for the movie.

Mayby this is already possible to do?

I think Jdobbs has said he doesn't have plans for that. Since there are other programs like dvd2dvdr that already do that with CCE it really isn't necessary. If you really wanted to use RB you could:

1. use titleset blanker to blank out everything but the main movie VTS set (including the all menu .VOBs if you don't want them).*

2. use Rebuilder.

3.(movie only) Use DVDshrink with no compression to re-author as movie only, if you deleted the menus.

* This would work for most titles, but some have extras and everything in one big VTS set. In that case you could use DVDStripper/IFOedit to remove them, and hope RB doesn't have problems with it's output. OR you could reverse this process and Re-author as movie only with no compression in DVDShrink and then run it thru Rebuilder, but you could not keep the menu in that case.

Ok, thanks. Do you know how much space is used for movie and for extras?

DVDshrink will give you a nice overview.

No, I meant how does DVD-rb determine how much to compress the movie and how much to compress the extras?

And could someone tell me what the "Auto Film Threshold" option means?
