I am currently running Win XP SP1 and my folder types are off, i.e., my C: drive opens up as a My Music folder; my Picture folder opens up as My Music folder and my Videos folder opens up as a My Pictures folder.
The problem started with Windows XP then i upgraded to Windows XP SP1 and the problem is still present. Resetting the folder view options do not help either.
I would like to know if there is a way to reset the folder type for the task pane. Also my view options change everytime i close a window and reopen it. Is there to reset the view option for my folders.
N.B... to the moderators - if this question does not belong please remove... to you gods out there - please help this is a real annoyance.
