Has anyone had problems backingup the movie SWAT. I have tried using dvddecryptor, dvdshrink and anydvd and they all say that there is an error just when they are reading the dvd. is this a copy protection thing or is my dvd stuffed??

I did Swat (region 1) awhile ago without problems. It seems to me you have ripping problems and logically posting in the decrypting forum would've gave you better reponses, especially from LIGHTNING UK! Anyways, this thread would most likely be moved there and in the meantime, what error do you get? Can you post your log file?

ok It's a region 4 DVD. If I use anydvd and clonedvd I get the following error : scheduler 0 d:/videots?vts_04.3.vob:23: read error ts sector reader tce.
If I use dvd shrink I get data error (cyclic redundancy check)
if I used dvd decryptor I get l-ec uncorrectable error (copy of log as follows - I aborted after getting the error)

Here's a similar thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=53678&highlight=Uncorrectable+Error) like yours reporting "L-EC Uncorrectable Error".
