Can I encode 1 avi to multiple DVDs?
My avi is about 3 hours, so on 1 disc the bitrate would be too low.
I know, I can cut the avi to 2 pieces, but than quality wont be equal on the two discs.
How you do it?

I suppose you can use D2S and D2SRoBa. Set SVCD output, but select Resize to DVD in Frameserver tab. Set CD Size to DVD capacity, and Num CDs=2. Author manually.

When doing this don't forget to set bbMPEG's parameters to MPEG-2 by double clicking on it.
BTW, I think 1 single DVD should do for any AVI. Try finding out what Q you'd get with D2Sroba. IMHO, if it is below 40 or so, a second DVD media would be a waste of money.

@Tylo
Very nice idea, thank you!
When I use SVCD mode bbmpeg will be used, to cut the video, and mux it the same step. Can I use these multiplexed files for scenarist?
@r6d2
Q is over 60. :(
How do you decide to create 1 or 2 discs?
According to Q factor?
According to bitrate?

How do you decide to create 1 or 2 discs?Always based on Q. BR is a side effect, it does not determine quality. I'm an "Auto" fan. :)
Anyway, I'm not sure how to do this with AVI2DVD. I guess you could use AVI2SVCD mode, set media size to your DVD size, and author manually. Don't forget the muxing tip given above.
/Add: Just read Tylo's post. :o He said it much better than I did.
