how do you convert ogm file to avi file with subs?

I dont ask "what for?", although this question is worth to be answered. Well... AFAIK, AVI does not support the built-in subtitle streams as OGM or MKV. So, try to demux subtitle stream(s) in a standalone file(s). For example, VDMod can do it. Then, you can play these subs ether by players (BSPlayer, MPC, ViPlay, etc) which support subs or by DirectShow filters (say, VSFilter, DivXG400 or ffdshow).
