Im trying to fix a .mpg file to bun onto SVCD. VCDeasy tells me I have a back packet at #28988. so I De-multiplex using mpgtx (it is the only thing Ive found that will demux it properly). Now I can't put it back together. when I mplex using TMPGEnc I get out of sync audio. Using bbmpeg the audio will cut out half way though the movie. can someone please help me solve any one of these problems.

I guess something is wrong with the audio. Try to fix the file with BeSplit.

Oops I am really not very experienced with the audio. You might try to decompress the audio with VDubMod. Load the mpg and Streams-Stream list -> right click on audio stream - Full processing , click save wav. After that you can try to compres it again as mp2 with BeSweet.
BTW, I think it is better to post the prob in the Audio forum.
