suggestion for Xvid improvement

Xvid encoder is great much thanks to Xvid team, but decoder should be better.
at least somebody could fix problem with playbeack of movies encoded by older Xvid builds (Nic´s 16/07/03 e.g) with vhq4 mode (other setting is not importent for this bug)
This problem was posted few months ago and solved using ffdshow to decoding, but ffdshow has problems with new releses (jerky etc.) so I must switch to ffdshow when I want to play old movies and switch to Xvid, whwn I want to play new movies. This continuos decoder switching is very very very tiring and uncomfortable.

Could anybody fix it

For the time being, use ffdshow 23-05-2003 and be a lucky man.

Thank you for help I´m going to try this version, but this thread was only sugestion how to make xvid little better.

There are many simple users who don´t visit any forum like this and don´t know about ffdshow, they just download latest version of codec or worse instal some version from some strange codecpack and are surprised that some older movie is not decodable using thist version of codec. This details could cause aversion to XviD and it´s not good, because XviD is great solution (much thanks to XviD team again)
