1.)The problem is that through DVD2SVCD you may not get the settings you expect since CCE uses the last template loaded anyway, regardless of DVD2SVCD settings. If you want to use them, edit the template accordingly.

This quote is from the sticky. I just wanted to ask if this means that if I want to use a specific template, I have to select the template always in Cce if I want to use RoBa?
For the use of Cce 2.66 the use of custom templates is said to be mandatory. So this seems to be important.

2.) Following the recommendation in the sticky of RoBa, I am using DDog's 'Progressive' Template for Cce 2.66. However I don't understand why it uses Multipass mode, or, put differently, how multipass mode can work together with RoBa. Does RoBa somehow override these settings or do I have to change something here, e.g Min, Max, Avg Bitrate Values?
Thanks, kilg0r3

The template is then correctly overwritten by D2Sroba on due time, so don't worry about any curious settings you may find on it.

This does not belong to the topic but I don't want to clutter the board with my beginner questions.

I havenoticed, that the analysis passes in BoBa run at a significantly lower speed than the final pass. The difference is about 1x vs. 1,4x. Why is this?

And, just BTW, ..... (http://www.netcologne.de/~nc-allgeife8/img.jpg) :D ( No, that's not me )

Hi!

D2S RoBa during the analysing passes is jumping in the video. Takes eg. 10 frames from each 300, according to the sample size you set. So it is a different avs script, thats why it is slower.
