reuse AVSEQ01.MPG [Archive]

I have made an svcd. No it plays fine on my pc but it does not play on my stand alone dvd player.
Now i ript the AVSEQ01.MPG of cd 1 to my hd and AVSEQ02.MPG of cd 2 alsow to my hd. Now i want to know if i can reuse these files, without encoding it again to make an svcd. Does anybody know this??

You must convert these to real mpegs. VCDEasy can do it. In the tab there is written .DAT to .MPG but it will deal also with SVCD files.

In which folder were this MPEG-Files?

If they were in "MPEGAV" and it's an SVCD your player player can't suppport this burning Methode. Burn new with NERO as SVCD in a folder MPEG2 and it have to work.

Or you have to reencode witzh TMPGEnc. Merge the 2 CDs with DVD2AVI in one Projekt and load it in TMPGEnc with some X(S)VCD Tempates like MVCD or KVCD.
