Hi gang. I've been doing some initial research on the best MPEG-4 coding solution for encoding of video into into hardware compliant, hinted for rtsp, mp4.
I think evenually we will go with a hardware encoder (vBrick, Osprey 500 series), but:
which software mpeg-4 encoder (i.e.: DivX Pro 5.1.1; XviD 1.0 rc-3; ffmpg/ffvfw; sorenson squeeze compression suite or Nero Digital), and which of its settings will best guarantee hardware compliant playback?
Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks
