Hi, I have a problem. I'm capturing Analog stuff via DV-Bridge
(the one from Dazzle). Now, the device has problems with bad
signals, if there is one the audio becomes crappy.
I've put an example of this here (http://black.portal.bei.t-online.de/Pages/bad.wav) so you can get an idea of
what it sounds like.

Please listen to it and tell me if there is any chance of getting
rid of it.

Thanks in advance,

u could open the file in a wave-editor like cooledit and zoom in a lot, this will show u the distortion. i don't know a lot about digital audio, but since i looked at this i cannot believe there is no way to repair the audio. please help me, please.

You may want to take a look at this links (google is your friend :p):

Tutorial in noise reduction with cool edit:
http://www.voiceacting.co.uk/forums/viewthread.php?tid=1014

the whole search in google:
http://www.google.es/search?q=cool+edit+noise+reduction&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=es&meta=

BTW, doing a noise recution in coo edit is really easy, read the help that comes with the software it's well explained.

Thanks for your answer.
Unfortunately it didn't help.
Anyone having this problem too ?
Well I guess should save some money and get a good TBC, the Dazzle Bridge simply is too sensitive regarding bad input-signals.

I know what you mean, I also have this issue with my Hollywood DV-Bridge.

What I've done as an alternative is outputted the audio directly from the source into the computer and record it at the same time as the captured video via the bridge.

Well, I solved my problem. I sold my Dazzle and bought a new Canopus ADVC-100 and I must say, I couldn't be more satisfied with a product in this genre. I think I couldn't have done anything better.

Thanks again,
