I noticed that my mass storage controller was not installed, so when i tried to installe the driver it said "Driver installation file for this device is missing a necessary entry. This may be because the INF was meant for windows 95 or later." I have xp and am wondering if this is why when i run dvd decryptor and search for scsi there are still no readers found? If so, any way to fix it?

Make sure DVD Decrypter is using SPTI for its I/O Interface.

If in doubt, just reinstall it.

So long as windows adds your cdroms to the cdrom class (which it should do), my program will find / use them.

Failing that, you'd better fix your drivers.

Do you have 'unknown' devices in device manager? What SCSI card do you have? I thought XP would have supported most of them straight out of the box :-/
