I've just got a new laptop, specifically for encoding. (Centrino 1.4Ghz, 512, XP Pro)

I can encode with graphedit perfectly on my two other machines (AMD, XP Home), but with this new centrino laptop everytime I click "play" in graphedit it instantly crashes. Giving me an error message relating to "iviaudio.ax". I've searched high and low for an answer to this problem but cannot find any solution, I have found one thread on this board which states the same problem but still no solution.

I've been using Graphedit to extract a wav file from VOBs. And have been very pleased with the results on my other machines and therefore don't want to have to look for other methods.

Does anyone have any idea how I might fix this problem?

regards

My main encoder is a 1.3 GHz Centrino w/ 384 Mb ram and Windows XP home / Slackware 9.1 . Graphedit runs fine.

I believe that file is part of the Ac3Filter package found on the download page.

When you have problems with files not being found, I usually install the Audio Filters and Gordian Knot packages (also on download page) to see if it's a filter that's lacking

good luck.....and these centrinos have amazing battery life considering the muscle behind them..right? :)
