I've been trying to take a chapter out of a DVD and have been getting a VOB file but there is no AC3 file output as well. In IFO mode, I have enabled stream processing, have checked only the audio track, and checked the Demux box and I still only get one VOB and no AC3 file.

I am ultimately trying to get a chapter of a movie into Vegas Video.

Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong? Could I be missing something on my computer?

Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks.

Highlight the stream and THEN hit demux.

Having it checked doesnt mean it's the 'active' stream.

Those options are on a per stream basis.

Thanks a bunch. It worked perfectly! Quite a program you've got here.

I've copied the whole dvd to my harddisk by dvd decrypter, but except the "VTS_01_0.VOB", other vob files do not have audio.

Can anyone tell me what's wrong? Thanks!

VOB files are not designed to be 'double clicked' on.

They are part of an overall DVD Structure and it must be followed properly if files are to play as intended.

Basically, dont play the raw vobs. Use the 'play dvd from folder' option found within your playing software.

www.doom9.org has a hdd playback guide you might like to look at too.
