well here's the deal.

i'm trying to make an iso copy from a DVD i burnt myself about half a year ago. unfortunately dvddecrypter (3.2.0.0 and also earlier versions) error out every time i try to make an iso copy.

the DVDR in question was burnt with DVDdecrypter on a Sony DRU 510A and Sony DVD-R media it is not scratched at all and playback is working perfectly fine both on standalones and PCs.

here's the log:

the bold line is somehow irritating me as the DVD in question was done encoded and authored by myself and the original material came from a DV camcoder. how the hell can there be any encryption on this disk?

i've tried ripping the disk on 2 different computers in a total of 4 different drives (Pioneer A05, Sony DRU 510A, Artec Ultima DVD, another Sony DVD drive) and dvddecrypter (aswell as smartripper and vstrip btw) error out at one point or another.

thanks for any help in advance

no problem, if you're sure it doesnt contain css, just ignore it - as you have done.

The program will then remove the 'encrypted' flag from the file and your new ISO will not appear encrypted.
