Hi
After using vdubmod and avisynth many times without problems, it suddenly gives the following error when I try to load an avs-file into vdubmod:
AVI import filter error: (Unknown)(80040154)
It occured after I installed Adobe Premiere, uninstalled NIMO-pack, and installed the latest ffdshow-filter and xvid.
I tried several things, but nothing helps. I emptied the plugin directory (except for 2), installed divx's, ac3, reinstalled the previous ffdshow, installed VDM bugfix 2439, etc. Avi's with ac3 play well in bsplayer, as well as vob's with powerdvd. I tried the same avs-files that worked fine before.
Nothing helps.
Someone suggested here (http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?threadid=33914) it may be a codec that's not registred in VDM anymore, due to a bug. There are a bunch (25 or so) of codecs listed in vdubmod (incl. divx & xvid), but not that many as listed by Gspot (about 50). I don't know if this was always the case, or wether some are missing now in vdubmod. Those that are not in vdubmod are two MPEG codecs (quartz.dll and MPEG2decoder.ax), so it could be the cause (not being able to read the vob's). But I don't know how to fix that.
Anyway, I looked in the registry in ../drivers32: there is no empty datafield. (Except for the Default: value not set. But I can't remove that one so I guess it's OK.)
