hi dudes,

first scanned old posts but could not find any hint. is it at all possible to OCR embedded subs from any digital video format???
in this case i have it on a dvd-r.

If you can convert it to an AVI, the program AVI Subtitle Detector (read the thread "Rip subtitles from an AVI?" in the Subtitles forum) is very good, but you will have to type in each line.
