Hi

I have a WMV3 file with AC3 audio that I want to demux to use the AC3.
Could anyone point me a userguide to use graphedit to do so, as I see lots of boxesand arrows, but have no idea how to use graphedit to demux.
Thx

Graphedit is great, and really easy to use once you understand how it works...
Here is a guide by Nicky Page: Graphedit-Guide (http://nickyguides.digital-digest.com/audio-extract.htm)
His guides are great, but most of them a little outdated by now...
I think doom9 had a guide on how to extract the audio using Graphedit once, but I'm not sure and wasn't able to find it (not much time, at work :D )...
If he had, he probably did remove it because it isn't necessary for DVD-backups anymore.
The filter you have to use to "direct stream copy" streams is the "dump" filter...

Hi

I am trying to demux a WMV3 file to extract its ac3, using graphedit.
Would anyone know what filter is to be used to write the ac3 file: file write filter in .ac3 does not work, and .wav creates an unknown format as per gspot info.
Virtualdubmod refuses to take on board the .avi extension with this wmv3 + ac3.

Help...

You need the dump.ax after the splitter (it can be found on ultimatebilly's link).
