Batch encoding tools (like divx5enc)?

Are there any tools to do batch encoding avs->avi similar to divx5enc (enc is the new name of the tool)?
What tools are you using for your encodes?

VirtualDub does batch encoding just fine.

VirtualDub has done batch encoding as far back as I can remember and thats like 4+ years.
