G'day All,
I've captured a VHS to 6 (3.99GB) AVI files on a FAT32 system. Can / How do I load them into D2S it seems to only except 1 file. Yet I noticed others are using D2S to convert 40GIG files to 1 DVD. Is this only possible on NTFS?

There is a tool downloadable from MS that allows to do that on a W98 system without reformatting the partition in question.

G'day r6d2,
I've just spent 2 hours searching google and MS but can't find any utility for ntfs on W98. I did find a utility that allows read only but this would obviously not work. If you have a link in your archives somewhere I'd REALLY appreciate the help.

I don't know of a freeware tool allowing read/write access.
The free ones I've seen are read-only.

The cheapest read/write NTFS volume access system for win9x I know is the Paragon one (http://www.paragon-gmbh.com/n_ntfs.htm) at $29.99(USD).

My two pence for what it's worth is that if your hardware is fairly modern, put your $30 towards buying XP for it.

build I'm very sorry, @build, I think I confused myself with the utility to convert FAT16 to FAT32 for w98. :(

According to some googling I did too, in W98 this is not quite possible for free, as Nick points out:

G'day Guys,
Thanks. I think I'll have to wait till I can afford XP. Appreciate your efforts.

Where in Australia can I get XP for $30? or in the US for that matter as including shipping it would still be less than half the academic version here in Oz.
Thanks in advance,
