Subtitles Preview Question

I´m trying to put in sync a NTSC with portuguese subtitles. I would like to know if there is anyway of previewing if the subtitles are in sync with the movie, because i can only see that after DVDmaestro has authored the movie. I dont have the ability to see the preview in DVDmaestro. Is there any program that can let me see a preview saving me time on waiting that all the process is done?

For the preview to work u need to install the cinemaster 2000 drivers.

As for the sync of the subs, as I said in another thread u need a non drop down frame video.

SubtitleEditor with text based subtitle file. Open original AVI if you have it. If you don't then run DVD2AVI + vfapi converter on your VOBs.

Sorry, I forgot the audio part. Decode audio with DVD2AVI to WAV file. You can mux audio and video with Avisynth script. Load d2v in Avisynth script, load audio from WAV file and mux it with AudioDub function. Then import script into Vfapi and convert. Load reusult AVI in SubtitleEditor.
