Can't get 2nd pass to finish

Hi,

I've made several attempts to get DivX 5 to finish a double pass of a film, but it always gets bogged down in the second pass with the time left steadily growong.

Obviously, I'm doing something wrong, but just as obviously I don't know what. Any ideas?

(I'm running an XP box with a 2600 using 1 gigabyte.)

Hi, spin, what's the movie and the encoding application? Are you using DivX 5.1.1?

I tried a couple of films, including Aliens, using DivX 5.0.5.
