I was once were everyone is, fresh and new. So I thought with my limited, and when I say limited, this is what it is, I would post a new guide. If the mods here, dislike it, I will respect their wishes and remove it.
Just thought I could give a little back to the DVD9 backup community. :)

Suppose I should add the link....hehe

To each his own my good man, to each his own. As long as you have a process which you do the same all the time, then it's all good. Sorry about the angelfire pops, I'm a poor college student. :) hehe

@brixon21
sorry chief, you have obviously spent a lot of time on your guide, but if i was a beginner, i would be more confused after reading it, than before.
and you have no idea how disturbed i am by the last sentence. :(

Indeed, you may want to 'reword' that last sentence. That's not what this place is about.

I removed the link due to warez-insinuation content. Please revise before posting the URL again.

I guess it was the line where you wrote that you'd make dvd images for people, gotta be careful what and how you phrase things.
i think you have completely missed the point.
taking the time out to help others is ALWAYS appreciated in this forum.
including references that violate the forum rules is not.
6) No warez, cracks, serials or illegally obtained copyrighted content! Links to content of a questionable nature, asking for, offering, or asking for help/helping to process such content in any way or form is not tolerated. in your final statement in your guide you throw in a tacky comment regarding material that you do not own, and that, my friend, is why your link was removed.
so, in future, think before you post.

Every try to help other people is appreciated :). For doom9 pretty high standards are expected tho and any warez related content is out of the question.
Since Jel is also writing a newbie bible, eh guide, maybe you guys can have a little talk and divide the work? Anyway some decent screenshots and spellcheck would improve things a lot ;)

Excellent. So I heeded everyone's advice, and I Created something a little more professional. I have checked it for spelling erros, however, I probably missed something.

"You will need to purchase three of the following Items. Doitfast4u (one time $15 dollar flat fee to Eyes`Only, Scenarist at best buy for around $100 dollars, and Cinema Craft Encoder SP, which is about $49 for the actual product.)"
correction - Cinema Craft Encoder SP retails at $1,950.00 not $49...you're thinking about CCE Basic, as for a $100 Scenarist, where is the store..thats an excellent price.

DVD5 is up now also. It's pretty simple, but a guide still must be done.
I will add some "newbie" information to the dvd9 guide tomorrow, such as more defintions and what not.

My question is why do u author the files before u encode them? How will you author script file know what new files r encoded?

hi JustKillin and welcome to the forum!
AFIK both ReAuthorist and Scenaid take into account the change in name of your .m2v file to the encoded .mpv file, so it does not matter if you generate the script prior to encoding or not.
hope that helps
