Howdy all,

Have a question that hopefully someone can help me with.

I've got a GeForce FX5600 with vivo that I'm using to capture some cable tv shows. I'm using virtualdub 1.5.10 for the capturing. I've been marking down the VT adjust times to sync the audio back up again when I convert the raw avi file into a mpeg (In TMPGEnc). I've been averaging over a half hour show approx VT +160, with about 2 dropped frames. Last week I upgraded my Soundblaster Live card for a Soundblaster Audigy2. Since doing the upgrade the VT adjust has been giving me negative numbers, about -80. However, I've noticed when converting to mpeg, it's still about +160. Does anyone know why it's giving me negative numbers all of a sudden?

System specs as follows:

P4 3.02 Ghz
1gig PC3200 ram (dual channel)
Windows XP professional with SP1
Western Digital 60 gig 7200rpm 8mb cache (system drive)
Western Digital 120gig 7200rpm 8mb cache (capture drive)
Sparkle GeForce FX5600XT with vivo
Soundblaster Audigy2 ZS

any help would be much appreciated. thanks.
