I bought Matrox Parhelia VGA card last week
To Choice Parhelia item correctly when I inastall Scenarist 3
It highlight hardware simulation button in scenarist simulation window
Try to enable hardware simulation
It always appears "can't find C:\progarm files\sonic\scenarist\data\w_vob_ntsc.vob" error message
How to solve the problem?
Many thanks

To hardware simulate something, you must mux the data first. Either mux the track, or you can press the preview button, which will mux at the same time as simulating. Using the preview button will be slow the first time as it has to mux while it simulates.

That is correct Dgoodbourn. however I have the same set up as Pankid; Parhelia on Scenarist 3 and it does not appear to allow preview simulation, only software and hardware! The preview button is greyed out!
@ Pankid, how have you set up your parhelia? I am finding the sim window needs to be run quite large in the left hand monitor to function correctly and also any undocked windows such as the property browser or information window will not settle in the second monitor, and snap to the second monitor's left hand edge. (I am making a presumption here that you have two monitors and a client monitor!)
I plan to post today on the Matrox website regarding this matter and I just wondered if you had had any similar experiences?

This is strange, as we can select the preview button. What version of Scenarist 3 are you guys using? We're using 3.0.1 Build 115470b2, but only on 1 monitor at the moment. (Waiting for the other to arrive!)

Are you using Parhelia? as I think that is where the problem lies. I am currently waiting for a response from thier support team. When you said one monitor did you mean one in total, or did you mean one plus a client output. we are running two plus a client output, which worked great on 2.7 but doesn't on 3.0. I wonder if it is something to do with the fact we have specify the card when installing 3.0. I may try re installing without specifying the parhelia card and see what happens.

Yeah, we are using the Parhelia but only with 1 monitor with no client output! :( We are also runing it under Win2K. To be honest, we haven't moved over to v3 yet as we find it very unstable with a lot of bugs at the moment. But soon hopefully :)
