Hello folks, I have a Geforce MX440 AGPx8 VIVO card and whilst I get a perfect picture to my TV via the svideo out I can not get any capture software to recognise that a capture card exists. Hence I can't capture video. This is most annoying as this is what I bought the card for!!
Any help would be appreciated,
Cheers
Bryce

My guess would be you installed the wrong driver set.
The standard driver set for nvidia chips (detonator) contains only the display and TV out drivers. To install the full capturing driver set, you would need to install the multimedia drivers as well. (either "WDM driver" or "personal video", don't know which.
The card manufacturer may have repackaged them under a different name. Hunt around on the installation CD or go to www.nvidia.com.

Hi Arachnotron
You were correct I loaded the WDM drivers and it is working fine now.
Thanks for your help, the NVIDIA card could do with some better instructions!!
Thanks again,
Best Regards,
Bryce
