I think this might be the right place to ask this since a lot of you are real authoring wizards.
Say you'd like to learn all there is to learn about dvd authoring
Making a dvd from scratch that is, and using Scenarist.
say commercial books or stuff like that, which will go into high detail about the subject.
Especially DVD commands are still a little tough for me, your basic authoring is not a problem, it's when you're supposed to add commands to set GPREGs etc. That's still a little difficult to me.
Anything that will teach me about DVD commands ?

I've already seen mpucoder's archive of DVD stuff, but if that info would be in a newbie guide, it would be great :P

The best books I can advise to get you going would be Ralph la Barge's "DVD authoring and production" and Jim Taylor's "DVD demystified. The latter is a more general explaination of the spec, but Ralph's book is broken into workable sections, depending on your needs (entry, mid range or advanced) both books cost around the £40 mark. I must add though, you will find this site a veritable gold mine of info. There is another site I would recommend checking out called DVDmadeeasy.com. Ralph LaBarge is a regualar poster on that site. Good luck.

Sèamus,
maybe you'll find this page (http://www.dvd-replica.com/DVD/index.php) valuable, too. It has loads of information about DVD specs and DVD Virtual Machine instructions.
