clock speed

hello everyone,
i have an amd 2000+ processor and have read that you can change the
clock speed but how?
iam new to this.all i know is to back-up games and movies.
every thing else is way above me.but iam learning.
please help, thanks besty...:(

By changing the clockspeed, you are "overclocking" your cpu. This all depends on your system, mainly the cpu itself, the cooling system and motherboard. Check out http://www.overclockers.com/ and see if your motherboard and processor are on there.
