Heyho folks,

is there a Prog out there you can demux the M2V-Stream off a DVD, putting it into AviSynth and reencode it with CCE... afterwards just remux and a 6GB-DVD shrinks into a DVD5??

Didn't find any Threads in the search... if i haven't seen one or another similar thread, i'm sorry @ admins!

Hey there,

I use DVD2DVD-R... http://www.mrbass.org/dvd2dvdr/
Guide here: http://www.davis28.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/Gudie/guide.html

1) Rip to HD with Decrypter
2) Run DVD2DVD-R
3) Change some numbers
4) Let it run

It will take 4-6 hrs depending on computer speed but it does it all for you, by the time it finishes you have a new authored DVD ready to burn, if you want, it will even save a certain amount of space so that you may insert a menu later.

Great program overall for those movies that are longer and would otherwise require lots of compression.

Try it!

Thanx alot ... i think, thats the right way i've looked for ... the most important thing is CCE for the encoder-role...

Am going to read through @ guide ...

I ask myself why there's so vast requests of BIG3 but just heard a little bit about DVD2DVD-R, but not enough... since now ;)
