I'm trying to Re-Author this title and when I come to recreate the BOV feature ( the only thing that can get me to the VTS2 extras ) the b###h Scenarist says there's no valid subpicture in every (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) stream for this highlight play.
I'm sure I set all the needed subs to forced start ( I also noticed that there are many more than the needed , about 20 for 6 buttons ) but the thing I don't realize is why they are however don't recognized ?
And , going on , I'd like to know how they realize that in the original because inserting the needed forced blank subs in every stream they overlap with the others (example in stream 7 with over than 10000 subs) and i need to edit the related .sst file to make Scenarist to not import the overlapping ones.
Don't stop your eyes on errors , I'm Italian and I've learned English writing with reading forums and listening songs ( the school doesn't help so much )
BYE and thx for all of you!

@n1ck0s thx^
I read , understood and will give it a try in the next couple of weeks (I'm really in a big trouble with time today.
BYE!!!!
if you can wait a while i am currently working on a 'beginners guide to button over video' that uses spiderman as the example - actually it was inspired by n1ck0s's thread.
i have been working through some issues with RB but i am almost finished.
i will let you know when its done so you can try it out :D
cheers

It crossed my mind to build such a guide myself... I'm glad jel will make this guide instead :).
Please (I'm sure you will) include the "15 frames away from a chapter point" issue. This one was the toughest for me.
@n1ck0s
i will do my best :sly:
actually it really is a comprehensive guide that *should* be easy to follow for any beginner. unfortunately because of workload it has taken a lot longer than i would have liked ... but its getting there.
...well slight amendment to that time frame...
my primary hard drive (with system, programs and yes the BOV guide :rolleyes: ) unceremoniously departed this mortal coil last night :(
so i will be delayed by a few weeks while i get it replaced and redo the guide from scratch ... mental note: must back-up on a more regular basis.
anyways, sorry 'bout that but its a bit beyond my control ...

I had started a beginner guide myself. But it's so much work to cover everything. I'll just leave it in the hands of Jel :D
If you want me to look at it I.m sure you'll be able to find me ;)
@influenza
your offer of assistance, as always, is greatly appreciated.
as soon as i get my computer up and running, i will email a copy to you ... although the biggest problem with this guide is knowing when to stop explaining things ....otherwise it will turn into a novel :rolleyes:
....or even a trilogy :D
