copied the dvd and the size is almost 8 gig

i was trying to do a 1:1 dvd copy .. but the image was 8 gigs ..
is there a way to copy that ? i heard some ppl saying it's a kind of dvd protection trick .... in Isobuster ... it seems like the content of ISO and UDF are the same .. so its 4 gig x 2 = 8 gigs ...

Hi,

The DVD you are trying to backup is a dual layer DVD, meaning it holds twice as much space as single layer DVDs.

If you want to backup this DVD, you need to use software that will compress the video a little more.

Programs like DVD2One, etc

i used Smartripper to rip the files ... it turns out all the vobs which were reported to be 1 gig each in DVD decrypter ... were actually 500 mb each ... and now the files are playing fine on my HD ... including the extra's etc ....
