Cant Read?

I have had the following problem with a few dvd back ups.
The video_ts folder plays fine. The image (with dameon) plays fine but when i burn using dvd decrypt the disk does not work.

Any ideas?

media?
if it plays fine from hard drive and from mounted iso image but doesnt play on your settop player then it could always be an issue of incompatible media.
go to www.dvdrhelp.something something something (sorry away from my usual computer and do not have the links handy) and check your media vs player and see if there are any matches.
another thing to try is open the video_ts in ifoedit and 'get vts sectors' prior to burning - and test in ifoedit dvd play.

What does "the disk does not work" mean ? The reproduction is jerky, do you see macroblocks or doesn't even begin?

If the latter, could be a screwed ifo, or illegal navigation command.
Keep in mind that PC players ( WinDVD, ...) are far more permissive than settops.

The dvd will go through the first FBI scene and then stop after that.

Jomile please be more descriptive. The title of your post is not exactly decribing what is happening here.

Besides that you gave the impression that your disc won't play at all, which is not true. SO try to give a info necessary.

And as I bet your dvd will continue playing if you manually press play on your manual when it stops, trahald's suggestion is an excellent one. Just search pause in the knowledge base and your solution to this problem will be there.
