While capturing in avi the audio is recorded at an odd frequency and out of synchronization. Instead of 44100 Hz, it gives 43951 Hz or another odd number between 43900 and 44000 Hz but never the regular 44100Hz.
It results in a sound completely out of synch, and unfit for mp3 encoding. (Unless, of course after manipulations with Virtual Dub etc, but it takes time)
Tests at different qualities/resolutions/softwares gave always the same results.
Is it possible to "force" the system to record audio at a fixed frequency or something?
windows XP
Asus v9560 video suite with Nvidia shipset

AMD Barton3000+
