View Full Version : Audio problems using Ulead for AVI to DVD

i used ulead dvd factory 2, to convert my .avi file into a dvd and burn it. it burned and everything was fine. when i put it in my dvd player it had video but no sound. in the temp folder for ulead it has the AUDIO_TS folder and there isnt anything in there.is there anyway i can encode just the sound put it into the AUDIO_TS folder that is on my hardrive and just burn it? :confused: any help is appreciated

No, the audio folder is not used on standard DVDs. Please reread the forum rules, especially #9, and check out the basics section of the Doom9 homepage. I've taken the liberty of editing your title to be more descriptive. Since this isn't audio encoding related, I'll move this thread to DVD authoring now.

Does your dvd player support playing mpeg audio? A compliant dvd in ntsc land has ac3 and pcm audio.
