seeking to a random frame in AVI, Linux library

Can anyone suggest a Linux library that support seeking to a frame and seeking to an audio sample in AVI files?

I'm looking to a functionality similar to libmpeg3 (http://heroinewarrior.com/libmpeg3/index.html), but for AVI files.
