I have this DVDr, where I want to add my own subtitle. I have done this like 20 times with other movies, but this one doesn't work... Very weird.
This happens.
The movie is perfect when I haven't done anything. Then when I add my own text to the DVDr (using VOBEdit, IFOEdit ect.), the sound and the picture isn't synchronized. The text and picture is synchronized but the sound comes like 2 sec. after. Anybody who knows about this problem or have a solution?

hello,
did you checked the original vobs delays?
is your movie un-synched from the beginning?

With the org. subtitles it's syncronized all the way.
With my subtitle it's not syncronized at all.

putting your subs makes the sound unsynched
Let me check it again :
subs synched with video
audio 2secs later
isn't it ?
You can simply cut the first 2 seconds of the audio tracks...

It's correct... Or around 2secs later..
How do I cut the first 2 sec?!

well, I use sound forge, but I think besweet (or is it besplit?) can do that for free. Have a look on the audio forum.

When U pick the audio into ifoedit windows (where U mux m2v, ac3 an sub as well as celltime.txt) U may click on it and there is a very small windows to the left where U may write the delay in millisecs.
To my expierence U may use negative figures, the audio being muxed, for instance 2 secs (2000 millisecs) before the m2v file.
Otherwise use Headache to cut 2 secs of the audio

In fact, I personally never succeeded using negative values...

sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't and by all means search me if I can give U all any explanation. I simply don't know why:mad:
If it works , then it works great and very precisely otherwise nothing happens:mad:

in fact, it not only doesn't work, but it's basically impossible to set negative values... Anyone, any clue?
