Hello to every one !
Quiz of the day :
I have the first elements of my new DVD (that means that I have one .m2v and one .mpa), and I can produce it without problems (thanks to all of you and especially to dimmer) my DVD on disc.
What I really want to do now is a finishing touch in my project, and that is a logo of my own in a upper corner of the filmīs screen, that lasts until the end of the film. The logo can be a simple name or a bitmap, or both.
Which is the easiest method to make such a thing ?
Thank you all in advance.....:)

Well, do you want to add it without reencoding? If you do, you have to make it a subtitle (forced, it you don't want it to be turned off, although is someone rips the movie it'll still be there).
If you want it harpressed, use the Logo filter for VirtualDub. I don't remember the download page, but it shold be easy to find. It supports transparencies, and other great features that should be helpful.

It really works, but if I am not wrong it has some limitatioms!!!
I mean, in which mode should I choose to save my project ?
I donīt want to have syncronization-problems with my audio file later.....
Right now I am waiting to see what is going to happen when the work is over.....
Iīll keep you inform, but in the meantime if you have another idea share it with me!

It works,(not with VirtualDub but with VirtualDubMod) but how can we save it ? In my first try it was produced in the first 5 minutes a huge file of 10 giga (Full processing mode--->Uncompressed RGB).Of course I terminate the program after this...
In my second try it produces a 500 Mb file (Full processing mode---->REALmagic MPEG-4 Video codec ) that it was not recognisable by other programs except VirtualDubMod.
Please help......

What is your Source? Is it mpeg, avi etc. If it is an avi, what codec did you use? You will need to re encode the movie, preferably with the same codec used in the first place. Or something that has as little compression as your space restrictions can manage, ie; huffy or some kind of Mjpeg codec. I often use the Matrox mjpeg codec. Personaly I think the option of forced subs, suggested by DVD master is a much better idea, taking far less time and not needing reencoding.

My source was an dvd-rw disc which I demux it from the VobEdit.
After Demux were 2 files created :
1. .m2v file (video), and
2. .mpa file (audio).

And as for the idea of forcing the subtitles sounds REALLY GOOD, but I do not know how can I make a start because my dvd-rw has not a subtitle stream to change.
If for example was a original dvd movie with original subtitles ,then I knew how to change a paragraph or even where to prject it on my screen, etc.)
But in this situation I need to create a subtitle stream from the scratch. How can I do that ???
