Lets say I have a movie in two halves, and rather than join the two halves together, risking synch issues, I have them as two separate movies in Maestro, and set it so that the end play of movie one is the start of movie two. With me so far? Now if I have chapters in both, and using the remote, I advance movie one by chapter, is there a way of setting the Connections so that when it gets to the end of movie one, and I still advance another chapter on the remote, that it goes to the start of movie two? Or vice versa, using the previous button on a remote and "rewinding" by chapter from movie two - can it start going back into movie one?

Hope that made sense.

My understanding is to do this you'd you need to place the assets in the one movie in Maestro, because each movie in Maestro is equivalent to a VTS, and the 2 halves have to be in the same VTS to achieve what you want. This defeats the purpose as you get possible sync issues. Of course, I could be wrong :)

It's certainly very easy to do in Scenarist, just create 2 tracks and drag them both onto the same PGC. If you don't want menus and have access to Scenarist then I'd say this is the way to go.
