Dear fellows,
my problem is this:
I ripped the antz dvd (ntsc) with dvdshrink, (only movie, no compression)....
I got the greek subtitles (a txt file...)( i think they are pal timed subtitles)
I used subtitle workshop v2.50 to sync the subtitles (later i ll use devob, ifoedit) but i cant open the whole dvd movie in order to sync the subtitles (i can only open vts_01, then vts_02 etc)...
WHAT SHOULD I DO????
Please help....
Is there any other way???
Thanks in advance to anyone that answers this message....

Maybe create an AviSynth script and load this script with SW? This way you would load the file as if were the original DVD, not "splitted" by files. If I remember correctly there was a post in this forum where somebody suggested that solution and posted an example script, try to search for it.

Hello,

what I do may not be the simplest, but it works (at least for me). I start a dvd2svcd cession (from the begining to the besweet step) to obtain a *.mpa (or is it *.mp2 ?) audio file -you can also demux with vobedit then use besweet- then I rename this file to *.mpg and open it with subtitlesworkshop. It's lighter and easier to use than a full mpeg file.

Hope this helps. Let me know.
