Burner Trouble

Hi

It has been two days when this started showing in Nero burning rom. The burner is a CD-R\RW and modelnumber is SW-232B with capability of 32X (max). Now whenever I try to erase a RW or burn a CD-R it shows like invalid state "SW-232B\ H1 T1" or "SW-232B\H1 T0" and sometimes shows "Power Calibration Error"!
And writing stops in the middle with these errors. First I thought it was a cleaning issue, but I did clean well and again the Nero is showing same.:(:(:(

Do anybody know what the error implies or the reason?

Hi Tuning

I have a sw-240b (samsung cd writer) and i burn my cd with burnatonce or with nero 5.xx. Nero 6 have big problems (as yours) with my writer.
I have installed nero 5.xx , renamed nero folder in nero.old and upgraded to nero 6.x, so i can use both recode/nerovision and Nero burning rom 5

I will try as you mentioned. But I fear there might be H/W error. Because the drive sometimes doesn't detect RW CDs.( I have already updated firmware 3 times (over write), again same probs :( )

This started in one morning and the day before, I could burn CDs in Nero6 without trouble. So i don't think Nero6 is causing problem.:(

I will report back after using nero 5.xx. untill then CU.

***Edit***

I tried this and again nothing good happened. Now I need to replace my CD R/RW drive.:mad:
